I kinda prefer the Higher Mother Tongue Intensive. No more 孔子，孙悟空，三国演义 for the time being。 Those are boring, superbly. There's one passage in Fuhua Secondary's MYE paper that i found it a bit striking what i'm feeling sometimes.
